Sunshine and Cousins

Nothing makes me happier than when a playdate coincides with sunshine.

4 Year Old Diva

Leah turned 4 this month, a fact that I am still trying to wrap my head around.  It doesn't seem that long ago that she looked like this:

She's changed just a tiny bit.....

Perhaps Sister's favorite gift this year was her own suitcase, bestowed on her from Grandma and Grandpa.  She has been coveting her brother's for some time, and this was the look on her face when she opened it:

 She immediately asked if she could pack it and go to their house, right then.  

This letter was the boys' birthday card for their sister, painstakingly worked on several days prior to her birthday and it almost killed them to have to wait to give it to her:

 Most of Leah's gifts centered around her desire to be a dancer, which is why there are no good pictures of her standing still...

Welcome Spring

Hello old friend, you've been gone too long...

 Sunshine, play dates and grass stains, 

 brave little blooms long since thought dead, peeking through,

 and the daffodils......

 Nothing makes my heart sing like seeing daffodils in March.  It means days like today will come a little more readily, and there's nothing I like better than sunshine (on my shoulders or otherwise...), my babies' voices floating in through an open door, and a yard full of kids.

Welcome Spring, settle in and stay a while.
